Our Company and our Field Engineers can help you throughout the entire Hardware Decommissioning process. This includes removal, disposal, destruction and much more. Each local team of field engineers work with you to fulfill your Data Center Decommissioning and RMA requirements. They also ensure that each step is correctly taken till completion, avoiding any unexpected delays or costs. In addition, we can work with you involving the disposal processes as well as also ensuring that the disposal of hardware is environmentally friendly.

We work closely with our clients and can ensure that nothing useful goes to waste. For instance, we can audit any hardware and remove any useful components. This includes any server, switch, router, etc and have them re-used or ship to a data center or storage facility belonging to the client. In particular, persistent storage devices such as HDDs, SSDs, NVMe, CF cards and alike can be safely packed, wiped onsite or destroyed so that no data is recoverable by any means, if above all, marked for disposal.

There are times when a space needs to be made for new hardware. When this is the case, we will also rack, stack, cable and connect the new hardware until its reachable by the network team. In conclusion, our onsite data center team is completely flexible and by all means, when we’re on-site, you can go ahead and request new tasks (there is no need to reschedule) especially if you just need a few quick checks in storage or inside a decommissioned server for example; or a data center wide walk through.
